On the local time of November 14th, Zhu Gongshan, Chairman of GCL Group, led a delegation to Bangkok, Thailand, where he held a high-level meeting with Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC) and signed a cooperation agreement. This move marks a crucial step for GCL in deepening its global layout and expanding energy cooperation in Southeast Asia, and also injects new impetus into the coordinated development of China and Thailand in the field of green and low-carbon development.

This high-level exchange took place at an important historical moment when Thai national leaders and senior government officials paid an official visit to China to jointly celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as green energy, computing infrastructure, energy storage technology, and carbon capture, and jointly mapped out a new blueprint for China-Thailand energy cooperation.

Professor Suphorn, Chairman of the Board of Directors of GPSC, extended a warm welcome to the visiting GCL delegation and introduced Thailand's policy directions and development plans for energy transition. He stated that GCL's innovative achievements in the in-depth integration of green energy and digital technology are highly aligned with GPSC's needs to promote the upgrading of Thailand's energy industry. GCL's technological strength and industrial experience are key factors for GPSC to select a cooperative partner, and they also lay a solid foundation for the two sides to carry out cooperation in a wider range of fields in the future. He expressed his expectation to jointly expand the energy market in Southeast Asia and even the world through cooperation, and achieve win-win results in the process of high-quality energy development.

Zhu Gongshan said that the current China-Thailand relations have stepped onto a new stage, and the cooperation between GCL and GPSC is a vivid example of the close collaboration between the two countries in the fields of energy and technology. Taking this signing as an opportunity, GCL will further implement the cooperation memorandum reached in June this year, give full play to its comprehensive advantages in energy technology, intelligent manufacturing, and global layout, and accelerate the full implementation of the integrated strategy of "computing power, electricity, green power, and energy storage" in Southeast Asia. He also pointed out that this cooperation is not only a complementary advantage between enterprises, but also an important practice for GCL to actively respond to the "Belt and Road" Initiative and promote the overseas expansion of China's advanced production capacity and technical standards. GCL will make every effort to help Thailand build an internationally competitive energy system and work together to create a high-quality "China-Thailand model" for the global energy transition.

In specific consultations, the two sides conducted practical docking and reached a number of consensuses on forward-looking fields such as the development of natural gas power generation projects, localized production of perovskite and Topcon modules, and carbon capture and commercial cooperation, paving the way for subsequent substantive cooperation.

Voravat, Chief Executive Officer of GPSC, and Tao Feng, Vice President of GCL Group, among others, participated in the above-mentioned activities.
