(Morning, 1 November 2013, Hong Kong), GCL-Poly Energy Holdings Limited (“GCL-Poly”, “the Group”, stock code: 3800.HK) is pleased to announce that, its BaoyingXing Energy 30 MW Fishing-Solar Complementary Photovoltaic Power Project for the development and construction of new energy segment has been successfully connected to the grid and commence commercial operation.

Baoying Xing Energy project is GCL-Poly’s secondnew-type energy “Fishing-Solar Complementary Photovoltaic Power” Project, which is located at Sheyangwu Town, Baoying County, Yangzhou City, and is built within cultured pond water area, occupying an area of 930mu. With a generating capacity of 30MW, applying distributed power generation and centralized grid-connection, the project is mainly consisted of PV module array, power inverter station, box-type transformer substation and maintenance channel, booster station and management area. Upon completion, the project is expected to generate a capacity of 29.417million kWh per annum on average.
