Official Grid-Connection and Operation of theBaoying 30MW Fishing-Solar Complementary Photovoltaic Power Project of GCL-Poly Energy Holdings Limited

(Morning, 1 November 2013, Hong Kong), GCL-Poly Energy Holdings Limited (“GCL-Poly”, “the Group”, stock code: 3800.HK) is pleased to announce that, its BaoyingXing Energy 30 MW Fishing-Solar Complementary Photovoltaic Power Project for the development and construction of new energy segment has been successfully connected to the grid and commence commercial operation.

Baoying Xing Energy project is GCL-Poly’s secondnew-type energy “Fishing-Solar Complementary Photovoltaic Power” Project, which is located at Sheyangwu Town, Baoying County, Yangzhou City, and is built within cultured pond water area, occupying an area of 930mu. With a generating capacity of 30MW, applying distributed power generation and centralized grid-connection, the project is mainly consisted of PV module array, power inverter station, box-type transformer substation and maintenance channel, booster station and management area. Upon completion, the project is expected to generate a capacity of 29.417million kWh per annum on average.

Mr. Zhu Gongshan, Chairman of the Board of the Directors of GCL-Poly commented: “Following the grid-connected operation of Datong Phase I 20MWPhotovoltaic Power Generation Project, Tibet Sangri 10MW Photovoltaic Power Generation Project and Funing Fishing-Solar Complementary Photovoltaic Power Project, the successful grid connection of Baoying project marks a solid step for our development in new energy projects and once again indicated our significant dominance and strength in the development and construction of PV power stations. In virtue of our extensive experience and outstanding management team in electric power investment, construction and operation, we will continue to expand solar power station business in the global market. By means of a model featuring low cost, high quality and high efficiency, we aim to proactively boost grid parity of solar power generation so as to change the future of mankind via green energy.”
