On the morning of July 2 in Bangkok, Thailand (local time), Thai Energy Minister Arak Chonlatanon gave a banquet in Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok to welcome the team attending Xuzhou-Bangkok Inaugural Flight Ceremony led by Cao Xinping, Secretary of CPC Xuzhou Municipal Committee. Guan Mu, Chinese Ambassador to Thailand, Zhang Funing, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Xuzhou Municipal Committee and Secretary of Party Working Committee of Xuzhou Economic and Technical Development Zone, Zhu Gongshan, Board Chairman of GCL Group, and Zheng Gang, Assistant to Board Chairman of Reignwood Group also attended the reception luncheon.

Before the luncheon started, Minister Arak Chonlatanon held a cordial and friendly talk with Board Chairman Zhu Gongshan. Minister Arak Chonlatanon has ever visited the production base of Xuzhou GCL Solar Energy Co., Ltd. early this year and has known well about the development of GCL Group. Board Chairman Zhu Gongshan introduced the new achievements of GCL Group in new energy and traditional electric power development to Arak Chonlatanon and the progress of the GCL in the PV power plant investment in Thailand. Arak Chonlatanon first welcomed the visit of Board Chairman Zhu Gongshan and introduced the strategy of Thailand in new energy development and relevant investment opportunities and welcomed GCL to invest in the new energy industry in Thailand. Both parties confirmed relevant items for further cooperation and hoped that the cooperation could achieve substantial results as soon as possible.
